The provenance ontology supports data management and auditing tasks. It is used to define the different types of named graphs we used in the store (quad store) and enables their association with metadata that allow us to manage, validate and expose data to BBC services @en
(2014-05-20) Bernard Vatant: Dedicated to specific BBC linked data requirements. Alignment to other provenance vocabularies, such as PROV-O, would be great. If further defined, they will appear at http://www.bbc.co.uk/ontologies/assets/data/mappings.ttl, like for other BBC ontologies.
